Physical pain :( I am scared is cancer

Posted , 4 users are following.

i have had abdominal pain and constipation about two months and hemorrhoid. I have been taking medication for hemorrhoid but now I still have the same symptoms and I am really scared is cancer. I have been suffering from health anxiety for many years and In the past I have talked to a therapist about my fears of cancer and heart disease. But recently I have been diagnosed with clinical depression and I have felt many physical symptoms at once

Now my stomach is hurts, my lower back really hurts. I have an appointment with my doctor 29 August but I so scared that if it is cancer is may spread around and my worse fear is that I will die young with this terrible disease.

I'm so sorry you're going through this sad are you seeing a therapist now? I'm having many unexplained physical symptoms myself and my personal fear is MS or ALS or some other brain related disease. As you go through doctors and try to figure out what's wrong I think therapy can really be helpful. I hope you feel better soon. I also think if it was cancer they would have found it by now. Try not to worry (so hard I know). Worrying only makes symptoms worse

Phone your GP tomorrow morning, they have emergency appointments throughout the day, you may not see your normal GP, that does not matter, the check up is.

I am like you as I suffer Reactive Depression caused by a Chronic Illness.

If it gets worse call the Health Emergency Line on 111 they will ask your symptoms and triage.

    Good Luck
