Pimples on pubic area popped out day after shaving and has been there for about a month

So I shave my pubes from time to time and I don't really have a method ( I got with the grain or against it sometimes ). I was fine for a while but then about a month ago I shaved and a day later a couple of pimples came out. I thought nothing of it then about a week later I shaved again and more popped up. I read about ingrown hairs and how you have to go with the grain so I shaved for a third time and no new pimples came however these pimples are still here. No change in size or placement they just don't seem to go away. I'm about to go on vacation so I can't really see a dermatologist for the next 5 weeks. Should I be concerned?
