So I guess i’ll vent btw i’m 18 .. anyways A couple months ago I noticed these 3 tiny bumps on my perineum and I thought it was “molloscum” and tried to get rid of it myself with Zymaderm well I was wrong bc it came back ..
So I then set a appointment which wasn’t till a month later 😒 I was then visibly diagnosed with HPV(Genital Warts) very upsetting bc i’m just like wtf how? and why me man like wtf
Now I was scheduled for the acid treatment for 6 weeks and this Friday will be my 4th week going for the treatment well last week I went and she noticed a bump on the lip of my vagina & my doctor thought was herpes 🙄 ( at this point just stop testing me damn ) but I insisted like no I just nicked myself bc that’s really what happen I didn’t think anything of it
well she swabbed me for it and it came back for HSV2.. sooo now i’m just like wow my life is over before it even started lol
I feel like I won’t be able to have kids
I’m basically contagious forever

I know its tough and seems hard right now but you will get through this. Your body is young and strong enough to fight this. Educate yourself do your research find out as much as you can about both infection. Take your medication and try not to stress too much...xoxo

Most people have herpes, either active or dormant. Most people also don't care -- you can and will have a fulfilling life as long as you don't obsess about it. Everyone has or has had wart viruses -- most times no visible warts grow, but we've all been exposes to many strains of the human papilloma virus (HPV). 90% of HPV infections cause no symptoms at all (no growths) and don't present much danger. Just make sure it's not one of the few that is linked to sometimes cause cancer (mainly HPV strains 16 and 18), and remove any growths, and don't worry about it. Easier said than done, but keep trying; it's a process. Point is, both viruses are nearly ubiquitous. Still tell prospective mates about it before first having sex, but it's really only mostly as bad as you make it. So don't make it bad.
