(SORRY for the color, wearing anti itch cream in the picture)
I had unprotected sex two weeks ago and just last sunday June 30th I sat down to pee and realized it burned. By the next morning I was itchy around my vaginal opening, thinking and hoping it was just a yeast infection I got myself the 1 day monistat impant pill and started applying monistat anti itch cream. Today, July 6, my vaginal opening is still very itchy and irritated along with my vaginal lips that are a bit swollen. If I look inside of my vagina I notice small bumps that seem to be the cause of my itching. I will be going to a doctor to get checked out and tested for STD's Monday. Another weird thing, when my period finally did start on thursday it was 5 days late, usually due to my endometrios I bleed a lot and so far I've barely bled enough all together to cover a whole pad, not sure why.
If these bumps look familar please me figure out what I could be dealing with. Also my discharge hasn't at all smelt or looked abnormal other than it was very watery before I Started using the anti itch cream.
Symptoms (Burning, itching, imflammation, slightly watery discharge with normal smell, small flesh colored bumps inside vaginal folds.)

The ridges/ bumps to the right are what I'm mainly focused on.

could it possibly be vestibular papillomatosis? Not only do the symptoms match but a majority of the pictures online look a lot like mine.

i swear this looks like the exact same thing i've went through last year. and i've done exactly as you have trying to figure out what it might've been. i developed lesions and went to get tested for it all and unfortunately i was diagnosed with hsv1.
now a year and five months later I believe i was misdiagnosed. i know herpes can be tricky and i wouldn't ever want to do anything to risk it but i haven't had an "outbreak" since.
when i was diagnosed i did a swab (which may or may not be inaccurate as i was treating like it was a yeast infection and the medicine may have thrown off the results) but i was negative for hsv1 & 2
i also did a blood test. igg and igm which was -as far as i studied- the most accurate. my igg tested me positive for genital hsv1.
looking at my inital pictures my doctor was like "oh that's not herpes" and trust me - my pictures looked liked yours IF NOT WORST. but after seeing my lesions she changed her mind and agreed to have my blood tested. i honestly feel like it was a false negative and i think the lesions came from scratching so much. i've made an appointment for wednesday the 17th and hopefully the results give me closure.
as of right now, i believe i just had a really bad yeast infection which led to a s**t ton of VP. and while your pictures look absolutely harmless, i still advise getting tested cause it's always good to have it on record 😃
