Please tell me this is anything but herpes

Okay so two or three days ago I had unprotected sex. Less than 12 hours later I was vomiting a lot but only for a few hours. I had drank the night before and I thought this could be the culprit. About two days later I noticed the opening of my vagina feels puffy and swollen. I immediately went to the gyno she looked at it and told me it was fine and I have nothing to worry about. then in between my stomach and groin I notice a path of skin feel sort of weird. Definitely not itchy at all. Definitely not tingle. Felt like Indian burned skin sort of... Then then teeniest bump and I mean teeny appeared there. I have no sores or anything anywhere else. The bump only hurts when i touch it and it's so small I can't see any fluid or anything in it at all. It's red. I do get razor burn EVERY time I shave but I haven't shaved in over a week. I have been extremely stressed lately not sure if that could have anything to do with it. But would I know if this was herpes? Someone please help I am praying I don't have it. I plan to get tested but it would help ease my mind or prepare me for the worst to get some opinions.

So IN MY OPINION you don't really have anything to worry about yet. As of now your symptoms seem not worrisome of herpes. Vomiting certainly isn't a symptom. The puffiness and swollen area I would keep a watch on but if nothing changes I feel like you shouldn't stress and at 3 months get an igG hsv 1 and 2 type specific blood test. If this tiny bump is new enough to ease your mind more you could go in and get it PCR swabbed to get a result back in a week. Good luck and I went throu a scary experience and actually had sores. All I can say is start taking control of your bodily autonomy and either use condoms everytime or both get tested beforehand. Wish the best for you!

I did experience flu like symptoms indefinitely but they were only for about a day.

Could be something else. Did you tell your gyno all of these symptoms? If so, listen to your gyno. Don't overthink it.

I went to my gyno to check on the swelling of my inner labia she said that because I was on my period she thought it was fine. I didn't have this sore upon going in and didn't ask her about herpes at all. I developed the burning sensation on one patch of skin fairly high above my actual vagina near stomach and then the pimple thing appeared and it is sore to the touch still small but this is the only bump I've had so far it still concerns me because it was painful to touch. Should I call back and mention the bump? Im pretty sure they think Im a paranoid freak by now

You should just to be safe. Try vagisil if your ichy or get itchy and it doesn't hurt to put neosporin on it & neo. Helps the sting/burning. I recently got diagnosed and i was on my period. Yours isn't as bad as mine. BUT you probably don't have anything but still go back to the gyno

Go to the doctor and ask for a culture of your bumps. Don't let them tell you it's nothing when you're feeling uncomfortable. You pay them for services, they don't pay you. With herpes it's bumps not actually sores. The bumps fill up with the virus and bust then turn to sores. If your positive make sure the doctor gives you vsltrex and Zovirax cream for the bumps. Any questions feel free to ask

Thank you. The thing is I really only have one or two bumps and they are so small I honestly don't think they could even get enough of a liquid or anything even out of them. Does anyone know if the swollen symptom I had is a symptom of another std? Or anything else?

They fill up when you have them for so long and the symptoms get worse the longer you have them. Mostly all stds have the swollen symptom
