I have had epilepsy for over 40 years. I have alwways taken 150mg epanutin twice a day. I have had a blood test and had the doose reduced to 100mg twice a day. I have blurred vision and have lost my balance and have tremors. Is this normal? Maybe it is the new pills made by flynn and not pfizer. Has anyone else experienced this?

      Thank you Winnie.

Are you in the US? Just received a Halloween Card from a friend in the States.

Anyway I was wondering if you were on epanutin tablets or capsules? I am on the capsules never been prescribed tablets.

I don't know why but presume its to do with absorption.  Lucy.

      Hi Sandraw

      Thanks for your reply.

I just wondered if you knew what the differences were between the two different brands.

Hi Lucy pfizer who used to make epanutin sold the rights to flynn another drug company. They are now hard capsules and I think they work differently and this is why there is so much trouble with this drug at the moment. Lets hopall stay well. Sandra

My neurologist prefers the capsules. I don't know why. I will try to find out.

I guess that they are absorbed at different rates .
