Post birth

I just recently had a baby and have been having continuous outbreaks every since delivering, I was symtom free for 3 years no signs of anything and nothing through my pregnancy. Even stopping birth control etc. I thought maybe I was misdiagnosed cause my family doctor at the time didn't think it was but treated me just in case. Now I'm having this crazy vibrations and groin, hip and buttock pain. No lesions though. Isn't this strange? I can't seem to find anyone with post prenangcy outbreaks but I guess coincides with the whole hormone thing. Debating now whether I should go back on the pill or not sad. Feeling so discouraged! The vibrations are so annoying! Lucky no bumps yet! Any thoughts?

Not sure, seems as though each case is different but the same-ish. Not sure when or with whom i contracted my 'lil thing' but have had a sore, vibrations, and now A blister. Have learned you NEVER heal completely but my guess is that it goes in 'remission'???

Thinking stress has a HUGE role in everything to do with 'lil thing'. Understand from something, somewhere that 'lil thing' lives in or near our spine maybe and as the virus sheds you get outbreaks. Or at least that's how i remember. My way of thinking is that the change in your body brought it back to life.

Hope you & your family stay happy & healthy ?

Thanks Dora. So you get the vibrations too? It's not localized to a spot like most say like prickly/tingling. This is whole area.

My sensation was localized to around my rear end (near the base of my spine and around my pelvis but on the inside ... if that makes sense). Have a hard time rapping my head around the whole fact, but as a friend said i could have a life threatening situation but don't. On my end i feel so ashamed because i don't know who or when. Such is life . . . Really appreciate the support that've received here.

Do your vibrations happen frequently or just when you have an outbreak? Are your outbreaks the same or vary from each other?

Now I don't know. The vibrations are pretty intense not sure if I'm getting an outbreak or not sad. How anout you? Are they all the time?

The one i Know i had was kinda subtle like.

And this is all new to me so my body doesn't know the answers and/or what to remember ...

Had appointment and was tested on the 22nd, HSV-2 positive on the 27th, researched virus, was in denial, doctor told me test was fairly accurate on the 29th, and the fuzzy electric feeling in my pelvis happened somewhere there about and then got my first blister yesterday. Then just read someone's HSV-2 laid dormant for 27 years after their first outbreak ... so'm thinkin that'm just waiting to see at the moment
