Post Meno women that had hair shedding

Does it ever stop? And were you left with a decent amount of hair?

I am only 43 and used to have thick, wavy dark hair. In my mid 30s, the shedding started but it has increased dramatically in the last few years.

I lose so much hair and what is left is now dry, frizzy and gross. Along with all the other symptoms, this is so depressing.

Hi Rainbow. I'm 51 and going on my 3rd year of post menopause. While I do feel better overall, my hair is still coming out. It's dry and gross. Not gray yet, but the nice natural blonde color it had is now a dull dishwater blonde. One side is shorter than the other. Never had real thick hair, but what I'm left with has me wearing a hat almost all the time now. This has been a very depressing couple of years. I pray that this does end for all of us. I was 43 also, when everything started to go down hill.

I had same in peri. Using revita shampoo. Can get on their site or amazon. It def helped and slowed down shedding significantly. Conditioner is too drying tho so am using sebastian dark oil light conditioner, get from ulta. Use both together.

Thanks for the replies! Nancy that's unfortunate to hear that it still continues.

This aging process is difficult to accept for me, I know I won't ever look or feel 29 again but for it to happen so quickly is startling.

We will all get through it though!
