Hi everyone
I ve been fine so far, went to theatre at 1.50 back in room by 5pm and had a spinal anaesthetic as well as general so no pain at all! Feel 'normal' not even drowsy. Have to agree with others, the waiting was the worst bit, and the spinal was vile but worth it in the end x

I cannot believe how well I feel, the spinal was so worth it. If they offer it you go for it, no pain or drowsiness. I was a nervous wreck and honestly it's not that bad . (So far) Thanks for your support. Xxxx

How's your hot flushes going? Have you had any headache's with them, I feel stronger but keep having a headache and feeling like I have a temperature, I'm sure its due to having my ovaries took away.. Hope you're doing OK x

My hot flushes come and go but are not too bad so far. Have no headaches.. Still so sore and still sleeping upright.. Would love a decent nights sleep. Is your appetite ok I am still only having soup and some fruit just don't feel at all hungry.
How are you sleeping at night?

My appetite is not great, I am eating but just don't fancy it, I tend to try n eat veg, salad and cereals to keep my bowels moving. I ve been going tired every afternoon but when it comes to night time I keep waking up every 2 hours. I normally only sleep 7 hours but since op I suppose I ve had more sleep and not sure if this is causing the headaches. I always get headaches if I over sleep but being tired has nt helped. I have started to try and sleep only slightly raised now rather than upright and must admit I have been more comfortable. Theres a lot to contend with but i m sure we will get there, hopefully in couple of weeks we will be sounding much more positive and stronger. Kept me posted x
