I had the procedure yesterday afternoon. The pee is starting to clear and there is plenty of pee. My only issue is the tip of the penis is very painful when I do pee. I am finding some relief by standing and walking. Can anyone shed light on how long this pain will continue? Thanks to all for the posts.

Cath caused severe irritation just inside the urethra following PVP Greenlight in December. The irritation resulted in a callus which resulted in a constriction of the pee hole opening, the meatus. Look up "meatal stinosis". Had strecthing done last week. Very painful, but also effective.
The smaller the constriction gets the more the urine stream becomes like a spray. Hope this doesn't happen to you; but, if the pain continues it may be something to consider. It feels like something the size of a corn kernal when you squeeze the tip of the penis.

When I was in my post procedure period I measured and recorded the amount of fluids I drank as well as the volume and times I voided. It quickly settled into a routine of about 150-200 ml every 3-4 hours if I was not doing anything strenuous and drank about 2 liters (2,000ml) a day. Prior I was running to the men's room about 16-18 times a day with great urgency and never feelin like I had emptied my bladder. Every now and then I feel urgency and uncomfortable, so it is not "perfect" like when I was twenty, but SO MUCH better than pre-procedure. Your bladder will likely get used to the new routine in a few weeks and everything will settle down to a new, more relaxed normal. Bets of luck.
