Hi

I went to the doctors and he said all the pains are part of the healing and that it takes about 10 weeks for it to be healed.

I just have t0 carry on with the pain relief I have.

He agreed mid January is a good time for me to go back to work so cant wait to tell them that as they were hinting at me going back already because my sick note runs out this week so I have a new one ready to post off and have pre booked the next one as it falls over New Year.

From what I gather work isnt a very pleasent place to go abck to at the moment anyway and morale is very low.

But as part of the new me I made some enquries about a new career and they have just rang me up with some phone numbers for university and for doing some voluntary work when I am up and about and they are also sending me out a pack with heaps more information

I did something not good on th eay back from the docs I was suppsed to go in and get 2 boxes f mince pies which the kids need to take to school tomorrow and ended up carrying a bag of shopping home not good  Hubby and best friend will go mad so I am not moving the rest of the day now as I could definitely feel something pulling down there.

Speak later

    Hi

How is everyone doing since their surgery

I am doing great and have my follow up appointment tonight.

    The pains have mostly gone.

I still havent had a period as of yet but hopefully that will arrive soon as I have the signs of Pms

Still have a lot of brown rubbish coming out too

Apart from the off twinge when I do too much though all is great.

Hope you are all ok too

    Hi Tracey,

Sounds like you're doing well! Hope your appointment goes well tonight.

I also have my follow up tonight. I'm feeling good, although I think I strained my tummy muscles sitting on the floor wrapping xmas pressies the other night. I'm sleeping okay but having night sweats (HRT) and am still trying to win the battle with the awful spots (HRT). I've got cystitis as well at the mo, which my gp thinks may have been aggravated by the catheter when I was in hospital. Anyhoo, got antibiotics for that.

I've just had my hair done (cut & coloured), so it will be a new me who goes back to work next Monday.

    Take care.

    Jill

    Thanks Kim :D

Jill how did you get on?

My consultant was very pleased with my recovery. He said the discahrge is normal and most probably due to the new coil settling in. The aches and pains I have been happening are all normal as its only been 5 weeks and he said the scar is fantastic and said I must have super healing skin :D

He wants to keep me on his books so wants to see me in a years time as he wants to do my coil check so he can see if everything else is ok too and any problems in the mean time to ring his secretary.

Jill good luck going back to work. I went to pick the kids up yesterday which is only 1/3 of the walking I would be doing at work and it killed me back and stomach.

I too am still getting spots all over and I havent got HRT

Linda how are you getting on?

    Hi

I got on ok last night. My consultant is happy with my progress and wants to see me in 6 months time just to see how I'm getting on & if I have any longterm problems with the HRT.

Seems strange that I'll be going to work on Monday. I'm trying not to think about it as I get a little nervous when I do!

You're clearly doing well Tracey. Though it does still take time, we are not superwomen!! smile

    Hi Cysters

I am three weeks into recovery, doing well. Had to go to casualty last weekend because I had a pain in my leg and they wanted to make sure I didn't have a clot. got the all clear though. While I was there they tested my urine and found some blood so I might have a slight infection. Im on anti biotics for that now so should be no problem.

I am feeling stronger but you're right you still cannot do what you think you can, my sister took me out to do a little xmas shopping on Thursday and I was absolutely knackered after only an hour!!! even with my sister carrying all the bags, I looked like queen bee  with her lugging all my shopping about and me with nothing...

Sounds like we're all doing well (makes a change) fingers crossed XX.

Good luck with work next week, take it easy though.

Ill be in touch again soon.
