Is anyone else having problems with the site? For about a week now I'm getting no notifications in my email inbox [eek]
I come on and and search around but I'm sure I'm missing things so if anyone thinks I'm not answering thats why!!!
Is there anyone I can contact to tell them......I've looked around and cant see anything, gone through the faq's etc HELP please [wink]

i am not experiencing any problems so far. However, some days I get so many new posts that I don't have time to go into them. Also, some I have nothing to add. If you are not getting anything have you checked your settings? Maybe a software upgrade for example has altered something.
Hope you get it sorted out.
regards
Sue

Yes.....checkedm my settings
I even unticked them all and re-ticked them {if that makes sense} but no difference
I know what you mean about so many posts.....I use to struggle to answer everything and then I thought.....the site is very quiet but then realised nothing was coming through.
I dont know how to get in touch with a moderator or anyone to report this.
If you think of anyone......let me know please

Thanks for the reply Whalie
This has never happened to me before here......it freezes every now and then but this is much worse.
I find it weird that there doesnt seem to be anyone to get in touch with
Every other site/forum I'm on you know who to get in touch with.....even if its not the right person they point you in the right direction.
Moderators are about because the cancel posts so why cant we get them
I know ....not expection you to answer those questions....I'm just ranting

I tried that facebook hip replacement site mentioned here but it didn't seem to give much info (maybe there are a couple out there and I got the wrong one).
Hope you are well otherwise...getting colder here in Toronto, with snow the other day! Not looking for my first winter with new hip - may have to hibernate until spring!!!

Thanks for the help........I do have another email that I rarely use but tried to get into it the other day and couldnt
I'll need to start a completly new one if I'm doing that.
It would be wort a try. I thought someone else {couldnt remember who} had had the same problem. I know there are lots of problems like freezing etc but this is so annoying.
I havent looked for the facebookone to be honest ....not yet.
Yes its getting colder here as well.......no snow in the UK yet thank goodness.
Like you I'm not looking forward to my first winter........only its mine with crutches......I have visions of falling!!! Might join you in hibernation
How are you? apart from not looking forward to your fist winter....hope you are OK

My leg was doing soooooo good, started driving, doing errands and all ok...then (and I only have myself to blame) I started to carry my l2 pound poodle up and down the stairs to go to bed at night and get up in the morning (he is blind and deaf and cant do stairs)...well I tore one of the muscles that wrap from side of knee to above knee...back to physio and knee brace!
I will know for next time - I'm to get my left hip done next summer!
Such a shame reading some stories on this site where people, like yourself, have had such setbacks, some permanently...it is such a lottery this surgery!
Maybe will try reading for awhile ..have to stay awake to take dog out at ll:00 otherwise I would be in bed at 9:00.
Have a lovely Sunday!

TV is a load of rubbish over here most nights!!!!!
That is uch a pity that you were doing so well and then suddenly almost back to square one
As I was reading your post I thought .....hoqw daft carrying her dog up and down stairs when she is not fully recovered but as I read on I now understand
What do you call your poodle......its such a shame being blind and deaf
How did you cope at the beginning.....I take it you wern't carrying him then?
What will you do with him after your next operation?
Or more to the point what happens now?
I'm sorry i'm being no help....just asking loads of questions.
Have a lovely Sunday......its 7am Sunday here not sure of your time difference
