Hi ladies,
I was diagnosed with a prolapse 5 months ago, i have a gynecogist appointment at the end of this month to determine the severity etc. ive not teally suffered any symptoms other then heavy discharge but recently i have had alot of abdominal, back and pelvic pain. I constantly question if i need to urinate or not as feel i constantly need to go. I went to my ususal excercise class last night and wet myself without knowing id done it. Has anyone else been like this with a prolapse? Im really starting to panic now xxx

can I ask what type of repair you had done to correct your bladder prolapse? And how was the surgery and most of all, how are you doing after the surgery?
I have the same problem and so scared of the surgery and so many women end up worse. I have been hearing too many bad things. Thank you.

No need to panic, You could have peroid problems which is giving you all the pain. You mentioned you were diagnosed with a prolapse 5 months ago, did they say what was prolapsed? You may have a cystocele which is a bladder prolapse which may be causing the problem with wetting and the requent need to go? One thing you can do now is pelvic floor exercises to strenghthen the pelvic floor. They are sometimes called kegal exercises. These can take time to improve things but you might as well be doing something positive while waiting to see the gyno. You may just have a mild prolapse and a overactive bladder? Other things can cause pelvic pain and it is not always the prolapse. you could have a infection. Have you been to a doctor about the discharge? Take one step at a time and look into everything. I know you must be going through a rough time at the moment, but try and think logically for positive steps forward. Goodluck x
