Pulmonary Embolism and ILD

My mother who had breathing difficulties for some time was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism. The treatment was done and the thrombus diagnosed was removed but on the discharge she was said to have ILD and was suggested to be on oxygen therapy with her lungs having been damaged.

Has any one come across any treatment options around Stem Cells Therapy to help restore the functioning of lungs ?

Any suggestion would be helpful...
