Question about hsv 2?

if you contracted hsv 2 orally will it eventually move to your genitals?

    No it wont. Once you have HSV2 orally you will build up immunity to it, so you can't get reinfected at another site

    Seems to be some misinformation here.

    If you get HSV2 orally, your body will begin to build antibodies against it.

    It doesnt just magically show up in the genitals, but if you come in contact with someone with HSV2 and they either perform oral (if they have it orally) or have it genitally and you have sex you CAN get it genitally as well.

    The likely hood is reduced as the body does have some immunity, but theres is still the possibility.
