Question re: peri/meno

Hi all, I'm just wondering. Anyone with peri symptoms of severe dizziness and anxiety finally wake up one day and both stopped? How long did it take for that to happen? I'm talking when you couldn't function or work due to it and then finally you could. Was meno easier for you after or was it also, horrendous like peri? I'm trying to way options on how long I'm going to wait for this to pass. I'm really stuck. I know everyone is different but, wth does this end and how many go through worse symptoms once in meno or sail through because peri was the only thing that hit you the hardest. I just bought cbd pills today too add to my collection of supplements. Hoping this helps in a matter of days. Praying actually but, that hasn't seemed to help. I'm calm but, can't shake this anxiety!!!!! I can't take HRT. I feel screwed. Just being honest. I'm usually positive and encourage others with this but, I'm now losing my positivity.

Peri was hell for me. Couldn't work, after working ALL of my life since 16 years of age. It was a slow decline from age 43 until now. My periods stopped over 3 years ago at 50. I suffered so many symptoms in peri. But once the periods stopped, I did begin to feel somewhat better. The eye sight, dizziness, and constipation problems have pretty much stopped. Menopause, for me, has been more diarrhea and occaisionally vomitting. I never felt this bad when pregnant! Yes, we're all different, but personally, I'll take menopause over peri any day! Hang in there and don't give up. I'm praying for you, and ALL of us women going through this, who suffer SO badly.

P.S. cbd oil was the best thing ever for me. My joints hurt so bad that I could barely function. Things are much better now, and I no longer need the cbd. Now I take vitamin d3 with K2, b12, vitamin c, and fish oil daily. I'm not one of the women who just changed their diet and exercised more and that made it all better. I've been drinking a gallon of water a day for many years. Always have. I was an aerobics instructor in my 20s. Was always healthy/worked out regularly. I like my beer and drink it daily. I did limit coffee to 1 cup/day. My anxiety is still my worst symptom. Doc gave me Buspar, which helps.

Nancy, I worked all my life since 16 too. Just hit me at 48 but, to be honest I realize now that I've probably been dealing with symptoms for the past several years but, just shrugged them off until I could no longer. Started with pain in my shoulders and I was like why is this hurting. Kept moving for several months until collapsing last year one night and it was a nose dive straight down from there literally. You said you never felt this bad when pregnant. I felt great when I was pregnant..of course not during 15 hours of delivery but, I'd take that over this any day! I'm trying to hang in there. It really helps to hear your feeling somewhat better. That gives me hope. I know women pull through this but, it's so hard to think that when your symptoms are so severe and holding you down. You think it's never going to end. I need patience and my family is supportive but, when you have family members that need you it's hard. Thanks again, so very much for your prayers. Some days are just worst than others. This was one of them. xo

My therapist for this anxiety mentioned Buspar but, I've been afraid to take anything. The last 2 anxiety medications made me dopey. He said Buspar was non habit forming though. I'm still on the fence with that because 2nd day on these CBD pills and I don't want to get too excited but, it's calmed down my anxiety tremendously just since yesterday. This is working like nothing else. I'm praying for all of us! Thanks again for your caring replies Nancy.......!!

Sunaina, try cbd pills. I can't say enough about this because I just started them yesterday and they are lifting my anxiety and depression like nothing else has in the past year. Literally today is my 2nd day and for once I'm feeling something that works. I have taken everything otc and nothing comes close to this. For cutting down anxiety. I do take this along with Bach Flower Remedy Larch. I know how bad this is. I was hit hard too by peri. I wasn't feeling positive before starting these pills. I was really losing hope when I posted this initial post before purchasing them. I'm hoping for better days for you and everyone else who is suffering with such severe symptoms. Sending prayers to you. xo

I would like to know this too.since about age 41 I started getting weird symptoms and more pronounced body pains and each year there always seems to be something new.I work from home, but many days I have had to cancel clients due to migraines, back pain and nausea.I used to be someone that would touch it out if I was not feeling well....but now fatigue and symptoms seem to make it more difficult.Anxiety has increased, health anxiety and social anxiety. Some days I find it refreshing to be around people and I feel good, then other days it seems like a big task.I am 45 now and even though I might have a month or two that I think things are improving it isnt long and I feel they same symptoms are back. I have read that it can take up to ten years for things to settle and your body get used to the lack of hormones.I still get my period each month although they are wacky some months. I would love to know when this will settle down without having to medicate ourselves.

Takingtime, the a anxiety is the worst for me too. Friggin nightmare. It's a vicious cycle of nonsense thoughts. I'm on the 2nd day of CBD pills. I picked them up at a flea market yesterdy. Everyone is selling this. The lady told me to take 2 50mg then one at night and I repeat that today and then the 3rd day take one and adjust accordingly to how I feel. It's helping. Tremendous change and lift just starting this and I've had other supplements I've said the same but, this is the best so far. Nothing else compares. I've read on line how it's helped a lot of women during this time. I thought about medical marijuana but, I didn't want to go down that route. Never have and it's very expensive . I picked these up for $45 for 30 day supply..on line though they run $55.00. I can handle that. I'm with you hanging on. I spent so much in supplements since this started. Wish I would have started with this. Take Care.

I think this will be my next thing to try cbd oil, I have heard great things and at this point this would be the last straw before giving into meds. Mine gets worse at ovulation and close to my period, other days ts there but I can manage it.I think for me because my symptoms are at the worst at those times my health anxiety and social anxiety are the worst too, as I dont want to be around people.I get tired of it taking over my life, I am turning away clients because I dont have the energy or I am feeling lousy........the winter months are tough on me always has been, because I dont like winter driving, and most my friends hide indoors too......so more time for me to focus on my symptoms.
