Reaction to Diazepam?

Ive been prescribed diazepam to help with my anxiety when it hits. I’d been feeling better so hadn’t taken any. I took some last night to help me sleep and this morning I feel extremely anxious, shaky and agitated. I’m wondering if this is some kind of reaction to the diazepam or whether it’s the anxiety trying to creep back in. Has anyone else had a reaction like this? I’m going to try not to take any more and see how I feel, but it’s hard to get through the day when I feel like this.

      I took half a 5mg tablet, so 2.5 mg. Can you get withdrawal after one dose?

      Yes, but it wont last that long. Hopefully you’ll feel better by tomorrow.
