Hi Shelly0069,
I was feeling the same for a couple of years. In my case I had been feeling tired for about 6 years and put it down to stress of studying and working. I then looked at perimenopausal symtoms as I am 46 but for me it turned out to be Thyroditis which was caused by an autoimmune disease, which flares up at mid & start of menstural cycle. With thyroid replacement medication my thyroid has stablised and feel almost back to myself. I am not say you might be the same as me but it would be worth asking your doctor to check your thyroid function.

Hi shelly
How long have you been on treatment?
Maybe it's just taking time to get dosage right.
Fatigue is a big symptom of menopause and it's not just about how much sleep you get. The hormone imbalances can have a knock on effect on all the systems in your body.

Shelly I too feel fatigued, mine will hit me later in the day out of no where. I'm not on any HRT but been in menopause going on 9 years now. I've started OTC [OVER THE COUNTER] menopause supplements and of course vitamins b12,multi d3 and C.I've only taken the OTC for 2 weeks now, noticed the hot flashes are way betterror at night, daytime I never noticed them as much. This fatigue is my biggest problem right now and I hate it! Good luck to you. Oh I'm 60 years old and had a partial hysterectomy way back in the early 90's.
