when the sensitivity i started having on my hard palate and upper front teeth gums, didn't go away i was seen by my dentist, who didn't see anything that might be the cause, i took it upon myself to see a ENT doctor who didn't see anything either, finally i went to a Periodontist who took xrays and examined my mouth thoroughly. Didnt see anything either, but they all prescribed various rinses for my mouth. The sensitivity feels like when you eat something hot or sharp.

Hi Tony,
Could you update me on this? I'm suffering from this for a long time and my doctor keeps saying it is due to stress 😕

Hi Tony,
I also have the same exact thing. I made a post about a week ago titled subepithelial bleeding, but it's only because I had the red spot biopsied that I know this is what it is. Otherwise, it's exactly like you describe, a burning sensation, sometime bordering on pain, on the roof of my mouth and behind my upper, front teeth. It's so annoying! Right now, my peridontist has me on a steroid mouthwash and then I'm supposed to only brush my teeth with water. I can't tell if it's any better. I'm wracking my brain as to what could be causing it. Something in my diet? A vitamin deficiency? In any case, please let me know if you find out anything that helps for you and I'll do the same. Thanks!
Laura
