Yes, almost everytime that I stood up in the hospital I went light-headed and was sick.   When it was time for me to go home I was given disposable kidney-shaped dishes for the car journey.  I was sick for the first day home and then it improved.

    Hi Scott,

My stomach rebelled the day after the op and by the time the nurse came I had unfortunately projectile vomited over myself, the bed and the floor.  I had a bad reaction to the morphine and was given something through my cannular to stop me being sick.  I too felt better afterwards.   I asked them to remove the morphine after that.  My surgeon said it's a wonderful painkiller but not suitable for everyone.

And to think people take it for fun eek

That's fun Scott, trying to balance on a raised loo seat without breaking the 90 degree rule.  Oh the contortions you go through! cheesygrin

Scott - me too painting the floor, nurse was quick, thank god with airline type sick bags.

Everytime I looked at food my stomach revolted, so only given water, tins of lemonade, and pear juice to get things moving No 2.

With nothing in my stomach I was surprised I achieved anything.

Had warned the hospital previous to surgery about Morphine problems but they knew best, yeahhhhh right.

2nd time around they were telling me "NO Morphine this time" duhhhhh, thats what I told you last time, they used Fentanol instead, good stuff, not sick.

How people take it for fun I really don't know. UGHHHHH.
