Red marks on penis glans: zoon's balanitis, lichen planus or something else?

Hi,
Here is the background: I'm an early 40's uncircumcised male. About 3 years ago, I developed a yeast infection on the glans of my penis. I went to see my doctor, who prescribed Lamisil. Although it cleared up a few weeks afterwards, since that time, it feels like the penis glans has never fully healed. There is still a fair bit of redness in the area. In particular, I've noticed the following:
- the redness appears worst if urine gets trapped between the glans and the foreskin (usually when I go to bathroom in the middle of the night when I'm half asleep)
- the glans can often appear "shiny"
- when aired out, the glans gets wrinkled very fast
- there can be occasional peeling of skin
I've tried a bunch of different things, including, hydrocortisone, clitromizole, coconut oil, Man 1 Oil, but nothing seems to make the glans look back to "normal". Every night after I shower, I make sure to keep the area dry with a light cool blow dryer.
I had an online consultation with a dermatologist a few weeks ago, and she thought it could be either zoon's balanitis or lichen planus. She prescribed Protopic, which is helping a little bit, but doesn't seem to address the underlying issue.
The attached pictures were taken this morning.
Has anyone come across anything similar (and know what it might be), and found something that helps treat this condition?
Many thanks.

try a Nizoral cream (ketoconazol) on your penis + 1 fluconazole pill

Hi jim,
Do you suffer from any pre-existing skin conditions such as seborrhoeic dermatitis (flaky scalp, scaly rash at bridge of nose and around nasolabial folds), psoriasis or eczema? Often, balanitis can simply be a manifestation of an underlying skin condition. Interesting that Lamisil was initially effective as it is also active against Malassezia furfur, a yeast commonly associated with seborrheoic dermatitis.
It doesn't look like Zoon's (not red or shiny enough) or lichen planus (no plaques).

Thanks for the reply Adhari. No pre-existing condition.

I am facing same problem although picture I am posting is mild. This type of redness gets on glans and painful too.
Corona becomes dark purple. I am not able to even touch glans.

@jason will this cure the condition?

Hi Sunny, I'm not experiencing any pain with mine. At worst, it might get slightly itchy.
