redness in skin did not go away from 2-3 months now, any idea what to do?

I am a 40 year old uncircumcized male and since the last 2 months I am been having redness on foreskin and glans which keeps on coming back. It never goes away completely (at least the some part of the foreskin is always red). I consulted urologist and I was told it is balanitis which is fungal. I had never retracted my foreskin completely to clean it before this time and I have been cleaning things since then every day without fail and also drying it using a towel (I tried a dryer too in between but it sometimes was too harsh)

One of the images has some anti-fungal white cream I applied

I used these regimes:

  1. Clotrimazole for 3 weeks
  2. Fluconazole for 1 week after 2 weeks of Clotrimazole
  3. Keflex 3 times a day (5 days) after 1 and 2 did not solve things
  4. Muciprocin on and off since then

Things never completely got normal but what I saw is when I masturbate things really get very sore and red. I have taken 1 week breaks from masturbation but it does not completely go away either.

I went to a dermatolgist and he gave me ketoconazole + aquinil to apply for 2 weeks. He says once it resolves then don't apply anything for 1 week and then try again for 2 weeks if it comes back.

However, like I said it always feels that things improve slightly and then go back. He also asked me to use Dial Soap now but I have been only using water based on suggestions before. I was thinking is it Zoon's balanitis and something like tacromilus can help? Is there any way out except circumcision. I already was fighting prone masturbation and tight grip masturbation (which I have not done for last 3 months now) so I never yet had vaginal intercourse with my wife of 1 year. I started to get intimate and I saw this redness. I have been very depressed.

Please help!!

I will try to quit masturbation for 5-6 weeks at least is what I am thinking but don't know what else I can do.

Are you applying lubrication to your penis head and shaft before masturbating?

      Which lubrication is good ?

also like you can see here the region of redness also varies each day a bit so I am not sure about fungal infection

It does look like you are still suffering from balanitis. Was Clotrimazole the original med prescribed?

Yes Clotrimazole was the original medicine prescribed. That is true.

You think it is fungal balanitis (candida) ? Somehow anti-fungal medication (both oral and ointment) did not get rid of it.
