Hello I am an 18 year old male and I am pretty sexually active, I always have protected sex but five or so days ago I took the condom off and had unprotected sex for a small amount of time before putting a new one back on (yes, I know, not very smart).

Two or three days after that happened (I also had sex again after that incident happened and hadn't noticed anything, I don't know if this is important), while pulling my foreskin back I noticed redness all around my penis head and even on the foreskin when I pulled it back. I did some research and just started cleaning my penis a lot and applying Daktarin cream. Eventually, the redness on the foreskin disappeared but the one on the penis head remains, though I believe less intensive, however, today I p****d and my pee was white but blurry and it looked weird and after a google search I got decently scared. If anyone can tell me what I've got that would be extremely helpful.

The issue with your urine could simply be a simple infection, or even a lack of liquid intake. Try drinking lots of water, such a 2 litre pack per-day for 2 or 3 days.

The redness on the Penis head could be a skin condition that you have developed, such as a Dermatological reaction, or even some form of Balanitis - the important thing is if you suspect in any way that what overall symptoms you have are as a result of Sexual Activity, get it Professionally Medically checked. If you have something dermatological or a skin condition developing you need to put in place an ideal Penile Hygiene regime. I will post information I frequently state in these forums. If you want to update your own forum here in 3 or 4 weeks time, or if you have a significant change, then by all-means do ....

    Penile Hygiene

The best approach is not to use ANY SOAP on the Glans - wash with water only EVERY time you have urinated, after sexual arousal, and ejaculation. If you are not circumcised, protect the Glans of your penis every time you take a shower by drawing the foreskin as far forward as you can, then wash everywhere else, thoroughly rinse off all the gels / shampoo and suchlike, then expose your glans wash it with the water only using the inside of your hand, then each time you have washed it you must make sure it is 100% dry immediately afterwards.

After you have put this in place and you still have the situation going on you need to look at what else your penis is coming into contact with on a fairly regular basis.  The likely suspects are:-

    • any chemical compounds such as skin cream / lotions, baby oil, oil based lubes, chemicals inside condoms (e.g. easy-on and spermicides) you need to exclude these one by one to discover the culprit
    • if non of these make any difference you need to look to things such as washing powder in which you wash your clothes, and underwear in, in particular.  The simple alternative to washing powder is Liquid Soap Flakes, most sizeable supermarkets stock this in their own brand names - and you use this in your washing machine instead of powders or ANY fabric conditioner type additives.

If all this produces no resolution to what you have, or your condition dramatically worsens, seek medical advice from your regular Doctor - but please note, many do not fully understand the differences between the potential skin conditions you may potentially have.  Therefore, the better course of action may be to see a Dermatologist, or alternatively, go to a Specialist Sexual Health Service and ask to see the duty Urologist.

As I have said, as you have had this for 7+ months perhaps, you are not sure of what has caused it in the first place, and, symptoms like this can be caused by many different things, you need to get it Professionally Medically checked.

With the discolouration in your urine it suggests this is sexually related, but you could have different conditions present here, or even several. Go see a Doctor at least, of go to a Sexual Health Clinic .....

This is quite embarrassing to talk about but I've noticed redness around my penis Glands, coming from my wee exit. I did have irritation on foreskin but that's gone and it's on my glands like patches of redness.

    Any ideas, please.

Wee_Dugie makes a lot of sense. I'd follow his advice. One other thing crossed my mind:

The condoms you used when you developed the irritation to your penis may have liquids in them, for instance, spermicide and changing condoms may help the irritation to go away; OR it could be that you're allergic NOT to say the spermicide, but to the latex, which many condoms are made of.
