Referred back to surgeon :(

Posted , 8 users are following.

I'm coming up to 6 weeks post op and about a week ago I started to have a heavy, straw coloured leakage from my vagina. I went to the GP who did an internal, took swabs and a urine sample, everthing was clear. I went back yesterday for a follow up appointment and she did another internal, she said everything looks very good but that she thinks leakage could be urine, though she could not see where it is coming from. So now I have to wait to see surgeon again and I guess it will be scans etc, it is possible that I have a fistula and if that is the case possibly more sugery to correct it sad Anyone else here had anything like, that can share experiences with me? xxx

Been for my scan this morning, it seems that I have a couple of cysts one of them quite large, no wonder I'm feeling uncomfrtable! I feel full and heavy just like before a heavy period! ATM it is not clear if they are on my left ovary or not. It is possible that maybe the heavy discharge could have been another cyst that burst and the fluid found it's way out via the (at that time, 4 weeks post op) unhealed cuff. Have to wait now to see the consultant and see what treatment he will decide on xx

Oh no, how frustrating for you, at least now you know what your dealing with.... And I hope it's sorted soon....do you still feel unwell??

      Thank you x

I've not felt unwell as such, I had the very heavy discharge at the start of all this and I've had some abdominal discomfort/back ache, it's only been painful enough to take pain killers a few times. I've not had a temp or been overly tired xx
