ive been getting these reoccuring rashes and bumps for a few months now ,not really much pain or anything, they usually disappear after

2-3 days. i recently went to the doctor twice both times they were sure it was not an sti but suggested that it was caused by an allergic reaction or something i use daily such as soap i have since switched my detergent and shampoos to natural ones and i still keep on getting the rash, usually comes back after masturbation or intercourse with girlfriend, if anyone could give me some insight or has experinced a similar issue please comment or give advice its driving me crazy

It is likely that you have an infection of some kind going on. Most medical professionals will ask you to use an antifungal for 14 days and see if that sorts it.

If you also do unprotected anal you may have a bacterial infection, or even you may have a combination of fungal and bacterial - for this there are combined medications that also have a mild steroid, such as trimovate

If no anal then try the antifungal first such as clotrimazole for 2 weeks or so first

hey thanks for the reply, no anal and the only thing is it pretty much always disapears within 2-3 days with just warm water would you still suggest using clotrimazole for a week or two?

What you really need to consider is what is the likely source of the infection. And the most likely source is unprotected vaginal sex, unless you have really poor personal hygiene standards, so I am guessing that would not be an alternative source.

As I say, go to most doctors and sexual health professionals and they almost always try the first-line approach of the antifungal and see what the result of that is .....

Do you use lubricant with masturbation or sex?
