Rib pain

Since I was about 13 years old I’ve been having occasional rib pain, always in the same place, which can some times be excruciating and other times bearable. When experiencing this pain I can become nauseous and begin to shake. I’m now 20 years old and still experiencing these symptoms. Can anyone help?

    Where is the pain located and what type of pain is it sharp, dull, how long does the pain last?

      Usually the pain is above my belly button and stretches from left to right. The pain can vary from being very sharp and then disappearing instantly to lasting around 10/15 mins while I’m in so much pain I can’t move.
