has anyone ever been prescribed Risperidone for anxiety or having racing thoughts/obsessive thoughts and worrying? i take fluoxetine and 25mg and just prescribed .25mg of risperidone and for having racing thoughts, severe anxiety and obssesive worrying. im terrified to take it because of side effects.
Please tell me your experiences for it?

I don’t take that medication, but it is a strong one. Remember that no medication is going to completely get rid of fearful thoughts or worry. medication cannot control how we think .
you have to decide if the side effects are worth it, or not.
to get fearful, thoughts, or worry under control, that would take practice and a counselor would be someone who could help you with that.
