Noticed a round spot on penis glan, non itchy & painless. suddenly appeared 2 weeks ago and no change to date. skin appears to be dry/rough on that spot. I am far away from clinic and this worries me. Appreciate if anyone can advise what causes this spot and how to treat this. uncircumcised, photos attached.

hi Ivank, thanks for the advice. i'm unable to travel for next 3 months, is there any otc medicine that i can try?

You could try some antifungal cream and see if it improves but really you should have it checked is there any GUM clinic near you they should be able to help they have doctors if you can't see your own doctor. It could be one of the lichen skin condition as well so it would need to be checked.

Get it checked from a dermatologist. Could be an infection.

hi amarjeet, thanks for the reply. any idea what infection this could be? can i use otc medicine / cream for treatment?

Yes you may try Canesten cream ( in morning) and Betnovate cream ( at night) for a couple of days and see if it helps.

      Canesten contains Clotrimazole.

      Betnovate contains Betamethasone.

It you can't get the same brand, get the same salts.

Quit using if the condition worsens.

Try to fix an online appointment with a doc if it's possible in your area.

And what's your sexual history... did you engage in unprotected sex lately?
