Scared! Having abdominal pain!

Ok I wrote on here the other day but didn't really get to many opinions. Ok so I had my gallbladder out about 5 months ago and I was great even felt like a different person, no pain after eating anything!!

Well I started to have pain in the same area as where my gallbladder was and it was going into my back just like gallbladder attack! I finally said I couldn't take it anymore and went to the hospital on Valentine's Day. They did urine, blood and cat scan with dye and said they didn't find anything wrong with me! So I made appointment with my doctor who I never been to and I will never go back! They did absolutely nothing because I didn't have my insurance card on me even tho I paid 100 dollars! Anyways now I am also having pain under my left rib lower and shoulders and I still have yellow stool and feel bloated after eating. I am going to a new doctor tomorrow and hopefully she sends me to a Gi doctor but my anxiety is so bad right now because I am so scared I have pancreatitis or something that's going to kill me and no one is listening 😭 Please give me your opinion on what you think it might be😌

Gallbladder removal can trigger complications and disturb your abdominal nerves and cause neuralgia.  Some people develop IBS or bile acid malabsorption from it.  This causes diarrhoea.  Insist on seeing a GI doctor to find out what is going on.  Try avoiding fatty foods.

I've had my gallbladder removed and I have IBS.  The first thing I have to ask is what are you eating?  After I had my gallbladder out I was advised not to eat fatty, fried, and greasy foods for 4-6 weeks.  That was 7 years ago and I find that I still have to avoid fatty, fried, and greasy foods if I want to avoid digestive pain, diarrhea, and mucus in my stool.

Your anxiety is going to worsen your symptoms.  Start an elimination diet.  Avoid anything fried or fatty, avoid caffeine.  Certain fruits and vegetables cause bloating and burping for me--broccoli and cauliflower are two major offenders.  I recommend writing down everything you eat and the effects you feel afterwards.  If your insurance requires referrals for specialists, then insist on this new doctor giving you a referral for a GI doctor.

Most of the scary things like pancreatitis would have shown up in your blood panels or CT scan.  I can't stress enough that anxiety will usually increase symptoms, so do your best not to worry.
