hello i am a 28 year old man, i am a bit over weight. and i suffer from really bad health anxiety. for the last 2 months ive had an eye infection and a nasal infection, and ofcourse i thought it was cancer even when i was told it wasnt and that began my stress. a few weeks later i noticed my stool turning yellow and my stomach started hurting alot and i stipped eating and i lost about 8-10 pounds in a couple weeks and i right there thought pancreas or liver cancer, so i got an abdominal ultra sound done and the doctor told me all i had was a fatty liver but more tests ned to be done. im still having these pains in my upper stomach where the esophogeus meets the stomach and ive notice when i eat or drink anything i burp up foam or chunks of food or water. and when i eat i feel full quick. i am really worried, my mother says its probably an ulcer and my doctor sees me so much he thinks its gerd but i am so worried that its cancer i keep losing weight and im scared to eat its a cycle. please i need all the advice i can get. is it my anxiety! UGH

there is no reason at all to think it's esophageal cancer. many digestive disorders give those same symptoms and that type of cancer is rare. ask for an endoscopy, it will give you answers. also, look at your diet and cut fatty and processed foods completely! eat lots if fresh fruits and veggies. poor dietary choices can cause GERD. feel better
