I have had an anal skin tag surgery done and even after doing it the scar tissue still makes me look like I have two tags. What is the likeliness for it to shrink? One of the scar areas does swell after a bowel movement and sort of is like a lump when I wipe.

I had my 5 week post op appointment and my doctor assured me that bumps down there for weeks after your surgery is normal. How long ago was your surgery?

I had it done august of 2020. So it has been 8 months, still a bit of a bump and goes red after a bowel movement.
