Scary rash please help

15 days ago i noticed several red spots on my penile glans (head), red in colour and spaced apart, perhaps ever so slightly raised but flat on top, i went to the local hospital and the doctor immediately announced that he suspects herpes but its been 15 days and the spots haven't changed at all, no filling with pus, no cracking, no pain and no itching. I would have expected herpes to go through different phases in 15 days.

I do have hsv1 as does my girlfriend that has only ever manifested as "regular" cold Sores on the lips so thats a factor to Consider.

Some other things worth taking into consideration, prior to the spots appearing i had a kidney infection due to lack of Water intake combined with excessive cola intake, i was sold tetracycline over the counter which I took to 5 days and when that didn't help i went to a docter and was given a course of cipro antibiotics which did clear the kidney infection. It was around the last day of the cipro that the spots appeared.

Also worth noting is that the night before the spots appeared i had run out of my regular shower gel so i used a bar shop, i actually made a lather on my hands and washed my penile head directly with it. During the night i felt an itch on my penile head and when i woke up the spots had manifested.

I had a test for hsv2igm and hsv2igg but the results will take a week and even at that i found out online that igm test cannot differentiate between hsv1 or hsv2 and the igg test needs 12weeks for antibodies to be present, of course the lab didn't tell me this when they were taking my money but basically when the results do come they'll probably be worthless false results.

I did have sexual contact with a stranger about a week prior to thd spots appearing but a condom was used, although herpes is a skin to skin issue from what I've read. It sounds like a herpes outbreak appears where the virus entered the skin and my penile head was inside a condom so that's not the point of contact.

I realise none of you can tell me what I desperately want to know but i feel like I'm losing my mind over this so any input would be appreciated (except for the guy who says everything is balanitis lol)

Yesterday i took a single 150mg dose of diflucan antifungal but its been 26hrs and there no change what so ever,

As of today I'm taking dexamethasone 0.5mg, this will be twice daily for 5 days.

So basically its red spots, flat, not blistered, don't hurt and they don't itch, perhaps a slight twinge every now and then when i think about them too much, 15 days without a change for the worse or for the better, just staying the same
