Scheduled for Green Light

Posted , 5 users are following.

I am a 62 yo with the typical symptoms of BPH with urinary retention after having a Urolift.  Prostatis and cancer via biopsy ruled out and restriction still visible with just dimples at site of 4 Urolift threads.

I am interested in post procedure results and recovery times.

Happy to report 2 weeks out and no retrograde ejaculation and peeing like a race horse.  Very happy with Greenlight Laser.

I think your very lucky.  You must have had a good doctor that is what matters.  Rest up and relax  Ken

Wish I was so lucky. Took me 8 months of a bloody mess to fully recover from GL then 3 years later had retention for another 8 months.

Hi william, Glad your HoLEP went well and glad you havent got RE

. You were adventurous to try at 2 weeks but I wasnt far behind at nearly 3 weeks to see if I could still have an orgasm and then later at 4 weeks noticed a little seminal fluid so hopefully I wont have RE. I suppose as much of the prostate has been lasered away ones quantity will be reduced. Overall I am very pleased with my outcome.

Sorry to hear that the Urolift did not work for you but it's not for everyone.  I have mine for over 3 years still wide open.  Happy the GL worked and did not cause you any other damage.Has you can see Lester was not so lucky.  But would know he may improve  Take it easy for a while and don't rush  Ken
