Hi Everyone,
I Have not been on for a while as there have been a few things going on in our life. Like many of us, that have been here a while now, my thoughts of reducing are for the forseeable future, well and truly on hold!
I find myself, for the first time, in '58 Festive Seasons', actually looking forward to not just a 'New Year', but also praying for a better one health and Family wise.
I just wanted to say that Cita does work, speaking from experience of just over a year, but it does take time and you as individuals must just try to chill and be patient, let it run its course and I know it ain't easy!
The important thing is to keep reading, posting and when yer up to it, reaching out to others, every little helps me friends.
So, let us all look forward to a better, soon to be here, 'New Year!' In the spirit of the season "and God Bless everyone!" or as the late great comedian Dave Allen used to say "may your God go with you!" (whatever that may be).
Take Care X

just thinking of you today and wondering how you were going. Glad to here that your anxiety is being managed well and like you I am putting my reducing plan on hold too.
i would like to reiterate what you have just said about citalopram working it certainly does! But how I remember what a long time it took to finally kick in !the early mornings were the worst and that knotty feeling in the tummy ,crying etc was the last to go! So if anyone out there is stil feeling like this even after a few months it is normal!,,
God bless you too David and hope 2016 will be filled with blessings and good health.
You are such an asset to this forum and so appreciative of your input.
Take care
Felis xx

our bodies seem to all readjust differently but mine took between 8-12 weeks but then I still felt anxious early mornings for a long time months then just one day it all went! However I had Cbt counselling and found CDs and books invaluable
We all need extra help while the meds do their thing xx

Great to see you back here (even though none of us wanted to be here in the first place eh). You have been missed.
I agree, Citalopram does work and am so glad you've found your way through on it.
Yes 2016 is nearly with us, and many who are struggling or have just started their journey on these meds, will find that next year will be 'their' year and will have found peace at last from this intolerable suffering.
Blessings to all for 2016 🎉🍷😄❤️
