Yes they do look like herpes. You need to go get swabbed while they are still open

the earliest I can get in is Thursday. the sore on my labia has been there about 3 days already.

The results will not be accurate after 2 days. I've had a test done on the 4th day and they said to come back in when I had a fresh outbreak within the first 2 days. Which seems impossible. You can call your clinic and they may be able to squeeze you in to get it swabbed. Tell them its urgent.

      Do you get cold sores?

The reason I ask is you could get a blood test done to see if you have HSV1 or HSV2. If you have cold sores you will test positive for HSV1, however you can get HSV1 genitally.

I tried to get in earlier but I couldn't. I've never had cold sores but i will get a blood test done. did they prescribe medicine just in case?

I asked them to prescribe it to me. They have no problems throwing pills at you. 😃

I think you're best option would be the blood test to see if you test positive for HSV1 or HSV2.

I agree she can still get a swap done, however it will not be accurate results after the two days of the sore appearing.
