Sertraline scary side effects

been on Sertraline 100 mg for several months now. have had 3 scary episodes just after taking it. i take it at night before bed. this last episode was a couple nights ago and I went to ER. Family history of heart attack so better safe than sorry! turned out to be GERD or acute indigestive heartburn. hurt like hell, I was crying and very anxious of course. after i got home, i looked up side effects of Sertraline and WOW! There was my answer. Now I'm scared to take it again!
