Sharp Shocking Chest Pains

I've gotten sent home from the hospital diagnosed with anxiety lots of times already. But, I'm NOT feeling any better and I'm trying very hard to control, recognize and accept my anxiety but it's SO HARD. Even when I'm distracted im still experiencing symptoms. My shortness of breath come and goes, but more times then others it's there. Especially when I'm moving around a lot. Tonight I've been experiencing very weird, sharp and shocking chest pain on both sides of my chest. Along with sharp random pains in the front of my neck. Also, both sides of my neck are swollen? And these chest and jaw pains are horrible! I got chest x rays done a few weeks ago and ekgs they said everything was clear. I also have a wavy, heavy feeling in my ear and have been very sensitive to sound. Earlier today I brought up some mucus and it was pink!? I have a doctors appointment on the third but most days I feel like I won't make it and every trip to the e.r turns out to be the same. Help me please? My boyfriend also has a sinus infection, I'm thinking I got one and that may be the pink mucus cause? I don't know but these chest pains are horrible, even though they come and go and sometimes happen when I breathe in. They hurt. None of this makes sense. Has anybody else experienced this? Any advice? I have health anxiety also. And weird movement in my rib area along with my chest. Very strange. Any advice is helpful! Thank you, god bless.

The pink mucus, well yes it could very well be from sinus problems, especially if you have had a virus in the last few weeks. It could be a little broken blood vessel, or even from a post nasal drip.
The chances are it isnt anything to worry about.
Get off to the dr on the 3rd, explain all your worries, write it all down if it makes it easier. You will feel better then, trust your dr.
Once you stop worrying the anxiety along with all the pains will calm down.
Try, deep slow breathing, in through your nose, out through your mouth, slow it right down 10 or less breaths per minute.
Try Rescue remedy, buy it at the chemist, it will take the edge off.
Hope that helps a little, above all try to stop worrying, I think you will be fine, x

I've only gotten chest x rays, blood drawn and ekgs do you think that's enough to show that there's nothing wrong with my heart? That'll reassure me. I'm just so worried and most days I feel like I'm dying. It's awful. But yes this does help. Thank you.

I've heard many times from many sources that if it hurts to breathe in, it's muscular.. Did they tell you if you have costochondritis? That would explain the sharp pains. That's just when your chest wall swells, and yes panicking makes it worse.. It hurts Like hell. Try a warm heating pad and just calm down as much as you can. Mine flares up and will last for up to 4 days, I've had it for two weeks though before.

I went to the hospital 3 different times and each time they just said it was anxiety so I don't know. But I don't seem to be getting any better at all.

Try a heating pad on it. Maybe look up symptoms of costochondritis and see if it explains what you're feeling
