Should I be worried??

so, last friday, my upper right side near my colon had a sharp pain. it resembled a runners cramp. ever since it has gotten better. it is not pain, just discomfort. it only feels crampy when i push on it.

my movements are fine. i do not have a fever i am able to eat. sometimes i can feel the cramp move down to my lower right side too.

i have horrible anxiety and hypchondria. i am worried that there is something severely wrong like colon cancer, or whatever. i have been stressed for a while, so maybe this is my bodies way of responding to stress.

does this sound serious?

Sounds like stress and overthinking especially if the pain has improved. If the pain doesn't go away completely or gets worse after a week, see your doctor for reassurance.
