Hi ladies just wanted to check as you have all been very helpful so far would you advise a fat free diet for a day or two before I start the orlistat on Monday as my lovely mum who is a practice nurse suggested it would help minimalise side effects (as she has never taken a them she suggested I actually ask someone who has)

I'm on my 8th day, weighed myself yesterday and I'd lost 2.4kg... It is very exciting  smile I have 5 Stone to lose so the excitement will wear off eventually so in this time um working hard at re educating myself on food and how to use it to my benefit rather than have it kill me lol.

If you don't do it properly you'll get the side effects and if you've read some of the posts on these you'll be aware that they're not nice at all... I've pegged out tonight on weetabix with skimmed milk and satsumas haha... This time 2 weeks ago I'd be on my 4th bar of chocolate.

All the best on your adventure to a new you!

     Shelagh xx
