Good morning Ranger. It all depends on what dose you were on and how long you were on Cit. And these meds work diff for everyone so there are lots of factors to consider. I am also getting off these meds but I'm doing it slowly--5 mg's at a time. Dont feel the beat but I'm soldiering on. Down to 15 mg's now and reducing every 2 weeks. Hang in there and keep the chin up!!!!!

I'm hoping for success by doing this through exercise and diet. If I have to go back on AD's then so be it. But not on Cit. Way too many side effects to deal with. Going through a few while withdawing!!!! Of course the doctors dont tell you that. He in fact told me there were no side effects!!!!!! I learned a lot about these meds from a lady named Katecogs and a chap named David. Thank god for them two cause it has made my withrawing easier. At least I understand a bit why I was feeling the way I was!!!!!!!

Well i'm not an expert but i came down by 2.5 mg's every two weeks. Its only last week that I came down by 5 mg's. I think by reading what ppl put in this forum that the slower u come iff these meds the better for the person. But i am not an expert. I just try and follow what ppl write in here.

It was very, very difficult for a long time. The nausea was horrible for at least 5 months. The extreme emotions and irritability was almost unbearable. I had to calm myself down because I would get so angry, agitated and upset so easily over the smallest of things. My loved ones had to have patience with me.
i had ringing in my ears and a water logged feeling in my head with dizziness for like 2 months.
I did have restless libido syndrome...that was just the worst.
I am pretty much done from withdrawing now. My ability to cry has come back......and it actually feels good.
Exercise is the one thing that helps my mood tremendously. I still get depressed and go through severe meloncholy sometimes. But it comes and goes and never stays for too long...though it does come back often. I have to work out more.....vigorous walking uphill for an hour will put me in a great mood.
i wish you all well with wherever your journey is.
