Hi claire,
yes sweets you will improve! It will take time though its not going to happen in days, think of weeks! Each day bring you closer to that shining light moment. It is very rare that recovery comes quickly. Two steps forward one step back, but each step counts!
it took me four months to see an improvement, six months to say yes i am better! Sometimes the dose has to be increased, dont be afraid of that!
the shakes will decrease they are awful i know! Slowly but surely they will lessen, you may have other side effects but they wont stay around long.
keep positive, see your friends as often as possible, go out, dont let this illness control you! Listen to music, dance, interact with pets and children if you can. Take your mind off how you feel!
You will recover, thousands have done so, and you will too!
🌹

Hi Claire... sorry to say wayyy to early just yet😩... but you will get there, like every one eles as said in the end it’s worth the wait, I’m on 60mg and been four half mths, and yes I feel loads better, but still have a odd day where I feel a little low, nothing like b4 I started the meds, but we are only human, and I’m going through the menopause so that don’t help...
It’s a very slow drug to work, but stick with it, and who knows tomorrow may be that day when you start to begin to feel normal again, and you will.. big hug 🤗xx

I too am starting on Flu....I am one week one on 20 mg and the side effects I am feeling is nausea in the mornings BAD, no appetite, shaky and tired. It is not fun at all. Reading what others post on this forum is what is getting me through this transition. I went from being on 20 mg of Paxil for 20 years and now I am withdrawing off that and now on Flu, they cross tapered me for seven days on 10mg of paxil and 10 mg of flu, after the seven days I stopped paxil all together (ugghh) and now I am on the 20 mg of flu. I started all of this on November 18th...I know that this is a long road but together we can all do this!!!
You are in my thoughts, reach out any time!!!
Kati XOXOXO
