Hi, Ive recently uped my dose to 40mg but have noticed my hair is falling out quite a lot, has anyone else had this problem? I don't know what to do!
Also i don't sleep at all but my doctor won't give me anything to help, does anyone have any suggestions? I can't remember the last time I slept properly and I have exams coming up so im starting to get really worried.

Hair loss is one of the side effects mentioned with flu. I don't personally have this problem but have heard of others that have. I am also on 40mg.
Sleep. The only things i can suggest are
(1) try putting lavender oil on your pillow
(2) try one of the herbal sleep enhancers. I have some Herbal Sleep capsules by Natures Sunshine that sometimes work for me.
(3) try drinking a Sleep Easy tea by Clipper an hour before bed.
Basically anything that contains chamomile, valerian or hops will aid sleep.
Some people have Zoplicone but this is prescription only and can't be taken every night. Personally, i think one strong drug is enough for the body to cope with.
I've been getting between 3-4 hours sleep most nights but since putting lavender on my pillow ans sheet, the last 2 nights i've slept through the night. It's worth a try. Good luck and best wishes. x

It's good to know others have experienced hair loss, I was starting to get worried about it but at least now i know what its down to.

lI didn't know that hair loss was a side effect. I've not read that. My hair has been falling out also, as it grows back it sticking straight up, looks very fetching! How many more side effects does this tablet have....?

The hair thing is the only one I've noticed so far, so hopefully it will stay that way! Although that is annoying enough. Have you noticed any other side effects?
