Hello all
Have any of you found solutions to achieving some good sleep ? I wake after two hours , go back to sleep eventually and this repeats itself through the night . Id love to wake up not feeling tense ! Gratefully look forward to any replies.
Thank you
Ruth

Hi Ruth, I do the old fashion cup of warm milk about a half hour before bed. It has helped me get a couple of more hours of sleep a night

I hope some of these suggestions help.
For years I have had a similar routine for bed time, which has proved a god send in menopause.
I retire to bed around the same time. Have a warm bath. Don't drink anything but water after about 7pm, unless I am at a party or social gathering of course!
I read for about 20 minutes, writing down any things that come to mind like tasks to do so that my mind is clear of distraction. Off like a light, and very rarely wake.
If, I do, it is usually to use the bathroom, and it doesn't take long to go back to sleep. Any worries, need to be written down to get your head clear.
Good luck!

Forgot to mention they also offer CBT insomnia therapy [cognitive behavioural therapy) under the NHS if you are based in the UK.

Yes, perhaps a bed time routine is needed. I may need to be more disciplined .
Thanks very much!

I also agree it's good to write down things that r on urgent mind it helps your mind let go of the worry of forgetting about something you need to remember ?
