Sludge around my Gallbladder

I had my fourth daughter July 31st of last year and while I was still in the hospital after having her I had severe right side upper pain like right under my ribs on the right side. I was so sick I couldn't hold or take care of my newborn. My mother-in-law ended up taking me to an ER bc I had already been discharged from having my daughter but I was able to keep my room bc she was still a patient. I wouldn't leave her except to go to the hospital. The ER docs told me that I had sludge around my gallbladder and told me I needed to have surgery. Right now I can't afford it but I'm in constant pain all of the time. I can't eat or drink without having severe pain and I'm out of the pain meds the ER gave me. I'm going back to the hospital the Friday after Easter and I'm hoping they will go ahead and do the surgery. I am in extreme pain and I'm to the point that I just can't take it anymore. Has anyone else been through this same thing before and can give me some advice on what to do? Thanks

Last night I had burger with blue cheese and onion rings felt so good not to be in agony all night . In the end it made me really poorly I have lost nearly 2 stone in a month due to gall stones beat to get removed as soon as you can Hun

I had sludge rather than stones, had to wait nearly four months for mine to be done, which my Dr and Surgeon told me increased my recovery time, get it done asap.

I want to do it as soon as possible but right now I have no insurance and not enough money to get it done. Do they send you home with pain medication after the surgery? How bad is the recovery?

Yes you get pain meds, if you have key hole surgery rather than the full open surgery, then recovery is good. I was walking around within hours, home the next day, able to do most things within a week or so just had to not lift heavy things.
