Then bam got my period today. Im so upset. So now what? Plus, I'm so closed up down there, I can't get a tampon in or to stay in. So painful. My lower back was bothering me all week, and boobs were hurting, just thought it was from carrying my heavy laptop to and from work everday.

So guess Im not in full menopause yet. So upsetting.

When was the last time you've seen your Obgyn?

About 18 mos. ago. I had all those tests done when I had oddball periods then. All came back negative. I heard sometimes periods come back.

    Hi Didi,

I would suggest that you go see your gp or gyn, just to be safe.  xx

I was told 12 months no period u are menopause. I went 18 months and had one flooding period. Doctors made me get all the test , biopsies, paps amd more. Did you call for an appointment or let your GP know.

I had all those tests done about 18 mos. ago when I wasn't having them for awhile and had first entered peri, when I lisr all this wright. Went through a battery of other tests too. All were negative. I just dont want to panic now, cause I heard it does happen. I guess I'll make an appt. just to be sure, but not sure I can go through another biopsy teat or D&C. It was a pretty awful test. Very invasive, and painful.

oh i'm sure you are fine too, and if you had all that done already then you can rest assure! When it happened to me I had'nt had a pap smear or anything for 21 years! So you can imagine how scared I was!  I had two major bleeds one was  almost at the 12 mark and the other 18 months later.

    didi,

You are absolutely right theres no need to panic. Being proactive and going to see your dr won't hurt though. You mentioned being closed up. I'm not sure if that is a normal thing. My sister was feeling the same way and her uterus was prolapsing.

Please for your own safety, I would make an appt. Please keep us posted and know that we are here to listen always.
