For around a week now, I have had the most horrendous stinging pain when I pee! If you've ever had a child, think of that horrendous stinging after giving birth, it's like that all over again!
It's around my clit, the entrance to my vagina alongside the area from my clit to my entrance to my vagina. It feels raw, like getting hand sanitizer in a cut. I've also noticed a few very big and painful spots/boils come up and some kind of sore too. I'm wondering if these have appeared as my body is run down and fighting infection. I'm getting a fair amount of blood, but I'm unsure if it's caused my my nexplanon causing irregular bleeding or this infection.
I went to the doctors on Wednesday and they diagnosed me with a uti. A lot of the indicators showed up (including blood) and I was put on antibiotics Wednesday evening. I've taken 3 1/2 days worth so far, the doctor said it should take 24-48 hours for them to start kicking in. The pain is still as bad if not worse, nothing seems to be getting better and it's making me a tad concerned! Drinking water doesn't even seem to dilute my urine so the pain is just the same. Should it take this long for the antibiotics to work? Could there be a different issue causing all this stinging?
I'm so fed up, in so much pain, I also have a mouth, throat and dental infection which means I can barely swallow and eat and it just seems like nothing is getting better or going to end! I feel so depressed, I can barely talk, I have a 10 week old baby to look after and I can't make an adequate effort to make him smile. I just feel bloody useless. I'm dreading tomorrow night as I'm here alone and if I'm not feeling better then looking after my grumpy little monkey is going to be hell

Poor thing, I'm so sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time. I remember when I had my first baby, all sorts of things of little painful, niggly things went wrong with my body, it's such a major upheaval and your body needs time to adjust. I'd advise you to go back to the doctor and tell them that this is not getting better and you're in pain. Don't let them brush you off, you have genuine concerns and need them to get off their soft duffs and help you - that's a doctor's job, after all.
Don't put up with it by yourself, it's hard enough to be a mum without getting any support from the medical profession.
Bests and lots of love,

Hi, have you got a icash ( vd) clinic near you, as I went there with
you have apart from the bleeding the doctor there told me I had lichen planus, I thought I was having an attack of herpes, I'm glad I went there, its nothing to be embarrassed about. Hope you feel better soon.
