had a phone call this morning from secretary to the chest specialist and said they had a cancellation would I be able to attend so tomorrow I shall be seeing him thank goodness , now I have to put a pen to paper questions I need to ask him .

    Hi Jayne,

    So pleased about your appointment; It should be a bronchiectasis specialist, so you can ask to see your CT scan of your lungs to the see the extent of the damage.

    Next question... will you be having a broncoscopy?

    also, spirometry tests to measure your lung function;

    Can they fix you up with physiotherapy to help with breathing and a 'flutter' device? this helps to bring up the mucus daily to discourage further infections.

    So glad for you Jayne.  Hope that the appoinment went well and that you got all the information  you need to stay healthy!  It was smart to write all of your questions down.  I am definitely doing that next time.
