So stressed out! Herpes or something else

Posted , 5 users are following.

Well.. I had sex with a friend recently and it was right after I had shaved with a different razor. Well the next day I started itching down there and had multiple bumps flesh colored. It's been a few days and they are still there but it don't itch anymore. Could this be herpes since it was the next day? Or something else? My anxiety is through the roof right now. Help me please!

Maybe it's razor burn? Do they hurt when touched? Do you have any burning while urinating? Where are these bumps located on your vulva?

I've never had razor burn like this before but it does not burn when I pee. They don't really hurt when I touch them either they are just there. Yeah they are on my outter labia labia majora I believe. Nothing on the inside either.

It is not herpes. If you are 100% sure about the partner's sti status. You don't need any testing.

Next day bumps is too soon. Other symptoms may start that soon, but herpes lesions usually pop up a few days later.

That's what I thought. I went to my dr but the rash was gone I told her about it and she said 100% folliculitis but that wasn't yesterday today I got home from work it itches a little so I scratched it and it came back? Can folliculitis do that?

I believe it can be easily aggravated again, so probably yes.
