So Sudden

Hello. So I've been coping up with my anxiety for months now. It started last June and with the right things to distract me from the feeling of impending doom, I barely had attacks.

Except today, I was just sitting down when I had this really hard time breathing and then the palpitations started. I had this really bad stomach ache and my head has been hurting ever since. I've also had this really numb feeling in the middle of my chest, as well as in my arms, fingers, and toes. I feel dizzy at some point and it has been hours since then.

Does anyone else have this or is something really wrong with me?

It all sounds like anxiety. But you must consult a docter if this is bothering you and once he says you are fine, believe in him and stop worrying. It will go away slowly with time.

I have a cardiologist and the ER has been running ECG's on me everytime I go there. They're all saying I'm fine but it always gets me since I become overly paranoid at times. Questions like 'What if it's a heart attack this time?' or 'Am I really going to die today?' gets stuck in my head and it all becomes worse.

See ... You need to understand What can you do at the most if you have some illness ????.... The Ans is that you will consult a docter, he will run some test and tell you about your condition. Is there any thing else you could do ???

I guess no. And believe me no docter will send you back home if you were so ill that you can have a heart attack anytime. So don't bother. For your sake ... For a last time ... You may go to see a specialist cardiologist and tell him all about your problem and fear of health anxiety and ask him to run a test or two that may ensure its just anxiety and nothing is wrong with your heart. If that too comes out to be normal there would be nothing else for you to worry.

Oh yeah. I have this all the time. I always feel like soemthing is wrong with me too. But I've gone to many doctors and they all said it was anxiety. I don't know how anxiety can cause all these psychical symptoms - but unfortunately it does.
