Major Pain, When I urinate the pian of the urine touching raw F'n meat is more pain than I can take... I put some vasaline on it to help, but it's not working... Merry Christmas!

Wow, incredible! If you said no, why would she do that? I guess it's better than a local with more stitches. I'd say give it a couple days. I know I'm very careful when I wipe so as not to tear anything. I pat dry when I urinate. I do use a baby wipe sometimes for sensitive skin. It just feels good and I have no complications from it. I can't help much, but I can feel for you this Christmas morn. Good luck, maybe someone else here can help out.

Yeah I think it's just the fact that two of the stitches have ripped out and I have exsposed raw tissue. it feels like peeing razor blades. cry

I might try that shower thing, idea but I can't shower 15 to 20 times a day every time I have to urinate  lol Thank you for your help Merry CHristmas

you poor thing I completely sympathise. I had a catheter in for several weeks and had a constant cutting burning soreness where the skin was very sore and also felt raw. the only thing that helped was cold teabags from the fridge. a gynaecologist told me about this year's ago then a friend reminded me a few weeks ago. camomile teabags work best. you need to soak 3 or 4 in boiling water. drain the later let them cool a little then put in fridge for an hour. once cool take off out squeeze it a little so it is not too full of water and quite literally place it in the vaginal area and ledvd if there. I was in such pain that I left obdurate overnight

I tried creams and lots of things but the teabag was only thing that gave me any form of relief. if you haven't got camomile use regular teabags. I hope it can help you. the burning must be horrendous... I could hardly move when I had mine. fingers crossed for you xx

Hi Andrea, the best thing you can do until that horrible raw feeling starts to ease is get a big squirty bottle of water & keep it beside the toilet. As you pee, squirt the area that's raw, keep the water flowing until you're finished peeing, it will dilute the urine & stop the burning as well as flushing any dirt from the area. Very very gently pat dry. I had this post episiotomy because they did a terrible job stitching me & the water helped so much
